You know the saying: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” Choosing the right place for a ceremony and reception is more than half the battle when you’re getting married. The good news is that whether you’re looking for something that feels modern and hip, or rustic and romantic, yet historic, Linden Luxury Historic Bed and Breakfast will give you all of that and truly take your wedding day to the next level.
Linden is one of the few historic homes in Natchez with a family legacy spanning six generations, dating back to 1849. In addition to its rich history, this exquisite Federal-style home boasts many unique features, and is set apart from other historic homes with its unmatched, entertaining, storytelling experiences. As you pass through the gorgeous front door and are greeted by the courteous and hospitable staff, you will come to understand what is meant when they say, “Come as Guests, Leave as Family!”
Situated just over a mile from downtown Natchez, each suite and private bathroom has been newly renovated with the utmost consideration and attention to detail. This upscale boutique, bed and breakfast, and event venue is an enchanting property known for its rarely found architectural features, seven tranquil acres of lovingly restored lawn, and gardens, moss-laden majestic oaks, and, of course, its gracious southern hospitality.
“Come as Guests, Leave as Family!” This phrase was consistently repeated while chatting with Janel Thompson Collins – Executive Chef and Katherin ‘Nikki’ Johnson – Head of House Keeping. Besides the job they were hired to do, both ladies are involved in every aspect of hospitality at Linden. In short, they are ambassadors of Linden. They help with every event, laundry, tours, greeting the guests as they arrive, taking them to their rooms, serving or cleaning the tables, and even lawn maintenance. “The entire team here is like family, we work together and working for Linden is our safe place,” they both echoed. “Because we work like family, each and every one of our guests becomes our family too.” they added.
At Linden, your special day is our special day, too! You are not just a valued guest, you are family, and just like family, our home is your home. The entire property is for your exclusive use as honored guests. We believe that you deserve to experience true Southern Hospitality that not only meets, but exceeds your expectations.
